In addition, such an organization has much to say also when ensure yours from day to day. For example, just published the five keys to improving food safety. And it's great because not only is the bird flu, but gastroenteritis ... we do not know why, affects average family.

These tips have many practical consequences, parenthetically we add clarification.

• Separate raw and cooked foods. (In the fridge is where the greatest conflicts occur. Below crude up cooked).

HOME MADE. COOKIES!

Not sure what you're capable of doing something until you do. Cookies can be done at home. It's fast, no need to be especially skilled and ... Do you know anyone who does not like cookies? We do not. So hang this recipe and predicted total success in the next meal you organize. It can also be for any one day: do not wait for an extraordinary opportunity to try them. Did you try it?

     1 teaspoon baking powder
     Butter 165 g
     2 eggs

     salt

Grind the hazelnuts and chocolate. Meanwhile, mix remaining ingredients until dough is smooth. Added after chocolate and hazelnuts and knead again forming a loop diameter of about 5 cm. Cool in the fridge (half hour or more) and then cut the loop in half-inch wheels about. Place the cookies on the cookie sheet and I can cook. It takes about 8 minutes at 180 º C. Do not wait until it hardens too: it is preferable to take them out of the oven a little soft, because to harden a bit cool.

FOOD CRISIS IN AFRICA: WHAT CAN I DO FROM HOME?

I copy text from FAO: "While governments are currently participating in an international donor conference in Ethiopia designed to secure more aid for the Horn of Africa, FAO warns that efforts to prop up farmers and breeders, prevent aggravate the crisis and accelerate recovery, do not have the sufficient funds (...) ".
The text follows. It is true that world hunger is a reality aberrant. It is true that could be avoided and so much more. In this blog, I propose some measure we can take from our homes, because many just do much.
The issue of savings in the shopping cart, as we know, does not refer only to the brands of food products. Here are a few points that try to be practical, and are not so far from contributing to the unfortunate situation of Africa and of course, to care for healthy eating at home.

Make a shopping list with foresight: calculates the space you have the fridge freezer., Not to overload them and maintain the quality of the food.

Fresh foods are healthier. Cooking takes time, but not so much (do not be fooled!).

Canned food scraps properly: try them out as soon as possible, with a good warming. It is very useful to have Tupperware in the kitchen.

Do not cook like crazy. If you spend time, you'll know to calculate the amounts of yours without accumulating debris.

Read the labels. We report on the nutritional value of the food, but also about life. Do not forget the snacks, confectionery industry, carbonated drinks, etc., (Products that are often lacking in the basket of almost any consumer) are deprecated. They are casual consumer.

Freeze in small portions. So you can tease out the quantities you need without having to thaw more.
These are just some ideas. Surely in your case (in your home, after all) there are more things you can do. Solidarity with the Third World to be responsible with what is at hand.

COLD, COLD COFFEE.

Coffee with ice ... is certainly in high demand in these hot days. As simple as hot coffee, ice and sugar. But with a little coffee can do to lengthen the desktop and ... to refresh.

-Coffee with ice cream: per liter of hot coffee, add a pint of vanilla ice cream. Mix well and let cool. Cold, cold, no one can resist.

-Coffee with condensed milk. This is the recipe: a finger of condensed milk, coffee and a few drops of Cointreau. And let cool.

Chocolate-coffee: same as above but instead of Cointreau, a little whipped cream. This coffee is taken hot, but also very good.

With very little can surprise. Yes, do it with a little time to get it right cold.

A CLASS OF WINES VERY SUBSTANTIAL

It is not something that happens every day, but the truth is that yesterday I was in a class on wine and do not want to stop putting here some letters on some point you think we can help.
For example, it is well known the benefit on cardiovascular health for their phenolic content and potent antioxidant. But I'm going to more practical matters in the short term:
Red wine is not taken at room temperature: what exactly is the ambient temperature????? Not the same Bilbao Cadiz ... So as a tip, it's good to get him a while before the fridge, so that when we get to the table not we exceed 16 ° C.
The pink and white wine, it must be removed between 6 and 10 ° C, so it is best to refrigerate the day before. If you have bucket, use it: half water and half ice, with a napkin.
The wine good consúmelo sooner because it oxidizes very easily.
A good wine ... you do not give it with cheese! (I'll tell you why this said).
